![]() The Guideline for Gloveboxes provides information for designers, fabricators, and users regarding the proper, safe, and consistent design, fabrication, and operation of gloveboxes, while minimizing the cost involved. It guides the designer away from common ergonomic mistakes made when designing gloveboxes and provides information on installation, maintenance, decontamination, and decommissioning considerations. The document establishes standard features for design and fabrication of gloveboxes such that, when followed, minimize fabrication costs and improve operability.
